I've been called a good friend, lover and cook. To be fair, I've also been told that I'm far too humble and sometimes overly quiet. I can appreciate a comfortable silence. While small talk has its place, I'm really not a big fan of it. I'm a good listener and expect the same. I'm also sincere with a hint of wit. Yes, I expect that too.

I'm an adventurer at heart and still feel like a giddy little boy when something new comes into my life. Something that excites me and makes my eyes open wide. I won't settle for anything less than my equal. Someone that can stimulate me intellectually as well as challenge me physically, and vice versa.

I've become somewhat of a traditionalist when it comes to relationships. I believe that gender roles exist for a reason but not in the closed minded 1950s way. I fear that our society is shooting itself in the foot with excessive political correctness. My idea of a good match is someone who's successful in her career and just about anything she puts her mind into.

Even if it doesn't sound like it, I'm really an easy going person that is comfortable in almost any situation. I value my friends and family more than any amount of money or material wealth. I try to keep an open mind as well as an open heart. You never know when you're going to find that person that meets or exceeds your expectations.

For a first meeting (dates imply expectations), I like to grab a drink of some sort. I find you can usually tell if there's a chance for chemistry in the first few minutes.
