I'm a New Yorker tying to exist on the west coast...help!
I moved to Los Angeles about 2 years ago for career purposes. While I love the overall feel of the west coast and most of what this city has to offer, I miss the "direct and upfront" personalities of the women back east. Where are all the classy, intelligent, sarcastic yet genuine women that speak their mind, know what they want in life and are going after it?
Hmm...how would I describe myself? I'm sarcastic with a bone dry sense of humor. I'm a fan of laughter...the more the better, especially these days. Friends and family are important. If I like you, I'll do almost anything for you. If I REALLY like you....who knows. ;)
I've been told more than once that I've got a pretty laid back/mellow personality....guess the way I see it is, "What's the rush?" Life's more interesting and enjoyable when aware of all the people and occurrences around you. No use in going through it with blinders on, or with an agenda. It's too easy to miss the good stuff that way. Live in the now. Take things as they come.
I'm all for keeping things interesting...dinner? art exhibit? jazz club? hunting for gelato? coffee & people watching?
