What am I supposed to put on here that every other guy hasn't already done. Hmm...maybe I'll try the truth: I get confused for Brad Pitt all the time...oops I did say the truth didn't I. Ok maybe I don't look like Brad, but face it ladies at our age maybe we need to start looking a little deeper.

I've been told that I need to lighten up on more than one occasion which in itself makes me laugh. I do tend to take life kind of seriously sometimes, but for the most part I am very laid back. I think a lot and that has bothered some people. That and the fact that I'm a pretty quite person throws some people off. I don't talk a lot though I'm a great listener, you know the whole "still waters run deep" kind of thing. I'm one of those people that strangers tell their life stories to while standing in line at Wall Mart. I've seen a lot and have done even more. I've learned a long time ago there is no point in judging anybody. We all have our own baggage. Question is, will both of ours fit in the same overhead storage compartment when we go on vacation.

Me: Thick headed when I think I'm right, not afraid to admit when I'm wrong, love to learn, loyal once you have earned it, intelligent for the most part, still capable of doing something boneheaded, love people for who they are not what they have done, twisted sense of humor, adventurous, cautious, optimistic with a touch of realism, happy, observant, passionate, compassionate, eyes wide open, sensitive to those around me, honest sometimes to a fault, scared but do it anyway, hopeful, hope filled, I guess if this were really a self portrait it would be called abstract art. If any of that makes sense to you let me know. Maybe you could help me understand.

I like to travel when time and money permit it.I have an adventurous spirit and I love seeing new places and people. I like doing a lot of different things with the right person. Anything from hiking in the woods to seeing live theater. I love animals, I have a one and a half year old female German Sheppard. I enjoy listening to different types of music depending on where I'm at. Live Jazz to Blue Grass or most things in between. On the radio it's usually contemporary Christian or country, growing up it was all "classic rock". You know something has gone very WRONG when you hear the music you grew up to on the oldies station.



I guess this is enough rambling for now. I hope you find all that your searching for and will actually be happy when you get it.

First meetings can be tough. I think talking over lunch or something similar would give us a chance to see if there is any chemistry. I also like talking on the phone a few times. This allows us to be more relaxed and spontaneous in our conversation.
As far as the first date goes. I would like to pack a picnic lunch and go to the lake where we could walk and talk and get to know each other, but I am open to any other ideas.
