I really do look, feel, act, and think many years younger than my 64 years; some have said 15 years younger; some guess 20 years younger

a VERY POSITIVE attitude and thinker; the glass is OVERFLOWING - not just half full; almost always happy; great smile;

EDUCATION: earned a BS in Math and an MBA in management; lots more continuing education with my career company and am retired from a large computer manufacturer where "I've Been Moved" applied somewhat to me;

HOBBY - My hobby might be described as singing; am in a championship Barbershop Harmony Society, a capella CHORUS in Tampa and have been a member for 16 years; sing in the church choir of 180 members and it is "mighty AWESOME." The sanctuary holds 5,100 people and is in Lutz, FL; sing BASS in both venues.

"Second Hobby" - My second "hobby" is exercise; am a swimmer doing a mile every other day on average at the Trinity YMCA; takes 47 minutes - a hard swimmer; am a MORNING person so am usually there by 7AMM; can and do stay up late, depending on how I feel; body style is athletic and toned but have a few extra pounds; a bicycle rider on local trails and in parks; do some weight lifting

RELIGION: Am a born-again Christian but not too freaky; I strongly believe in Jesus Christ; He is the only way to eternal life for me; attend bible study during the second service after singing; as part of a church ministry, help people write or re-write resumes and then search for jobs on the internet and other places all for free. There is a regular networking meeting every Tuesday where anyone can come to interface, learn, and experience the job search experience; It is very rewarding to have a "graduate" as there have been more that 1,200 of them.

Emotionally stable; free to travel; free most of the time; usually get to go to the Barbershop international convention as we are usually the district winners; just competed in Nashville (did poorly) and spent a week in a timeshare in Banner Elk NC (the mountains)

Have not lost my sexual drive (am a Scorpio) and seek a woman who is still sexual and intimate; enjoy the "touchy/feely" part of a relationship and hope you do too; enjoy holding hands, hugging, and kissing; enjoy the intimate side of a close and personal relationship; can be adventurous and hope that you are willing to try things; enjoy cuddeling in front of the TV although not much TV would be watched; have a strong personality.

Love to travel and have been to 49 of 50 states (Montana is the only one not visited - want to go with me?); lived in Frankfurt, Germany for 3 years and saw a huge amount of Europe; been to Hawaii 4 times; Alaska 2 times - once by motor home; loved Bermuda and need to go back; love day trips in Florida as well as longer trips to Key West; need to get to China, Australia, Japan. etc. Enjoy trips to Bok Tower/Sanctuary Gardens; Ringling Museum; Orlando and Disney once in a while; driving A1A on the east coast is so beautiful; Cedar Key as a day trip; etc. have timeshared a number of times in the Smokey Mountain area of NC and TN and would actually settle there with the right woman in the right home on the right lake, etc; Lake Lure was VERY nice; Gatlinburg mountains and surrounding areas were spectacular; Beech Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk are all enjoyable; BUT, Florida is VERY NICE and it would take a lot to get me to go.

MOTORCYCLES - I have read many a woman's profile and some (many?) like to take rides on motorcycles or have their own and ride them. I will not ride one. Friends have been maimed in accidents that weren't their fault. I read at LEAST every other week in the paper about someone dying in a motorcycle accident for whatever reason or whoevers fault it was. They are just TOO dangerous for ME. So, I will probably lose a number of fine women who might have otherwise responded to this profile but, I will not ride a motorcycle and would be very worried every time you did.

Am a native Pennsylvanian and enjoy going north in the non-winter time. Grew up in a Philadelphia suburb; graduated from Penn State in State College; lived in Mechanicsburg for 3.5 years many years later during my career. Learned to fly and really loved flying over the Appalacian mountains going up toward State College; loved to climb fire towers in the forests all around State College.

Some women have said that my WISH LIST is too comprehensive and that I want Ms PERFECT. That is SO FAR from the truth. I list areas that I seek but am REALLY open to discussion and compromise. I'm pretty adament about wanting a NON-SMOKER but we can discuss it.


You DO NOT need to be a 21 year old chippy; I PREFER that you not be a BBW or, at least, you are working to lose the weight. I do like curvy as I like a woman whom I can hold, and hug, and get to know. Thin, athletic and toned, a few extra pounds are ALL OK!!! I definitely am a man who likes a woman with some "junk in the trunk" or, put another way, a :cutie with a booty." But, a woman is a package and that' good. I do like other parts, too.

Prefer that you be educated but that does not NECESSARILY mean that you have a college degree - but it would help; remeber, I have an MBA and used it and my BS in business; life's experiences can be far better an education than a dusty sheepskin hanging on the wall; you must be active and alert - no couch potatoes; you have to be able to THINK and communicate - not just look pretty and be great in bed (these two qualities are very desireable, too). I have been told that I need a woman who can keep up with me mentally and physically. I recently had a knee operation so am not running or biking just yet but am swimming even more that I had been before the operation. 7/18/08 - I had the final checkup and I am in great condition. Hiked in the Appalacians when I was in Banner Elk; have been swimming hard in the "Y" pool since returning. Probably will never run 5, 10, and 15K's ever again which is OK.

Prefer that you exercise and be in shape; prefer a thinner woman - a woman with enough stamina to make love; This is really negotiable/optional.

Cody's Roadhouse on a Wednesday night for fajitas 2-4-1 and drinks 2-4-1-would be fine but noisy; maybe follow with a movie

The Windmeal restaurant on Rt 54 is really neat for breakfast or lunch (they don't serve dinner.) Everything is very good thee: the food, the wait staff, the owners, the decor/ambiance

Cristos at 54 and Little Road has excellent food and is a great price performer. Actually, a food court would be OK as it is not the food but the person; Lots of talk and chatter and getting to know each other a lot better. You and your tastes could decide where we go for a first date; actually, discussion and compromise would work VERY well in this matter. Mexican food ranks pretty low on my list; am very partial to Italian.
