Back to Cebu in September


Who am I? I'm a guy who has been single since 1988, with a great job, a happy disposition, and an eternally hopeful outlook on life. Why single so long? I was a single parent raising 2 daughters alone. As someone who took parenting seriously, I let them be my life, though now they are off at college. I have an unending sense of humor, that sees all twisted angles, I take serious what need be, and laugh at things that don't. I will most likely laugh at things that make the average person scream in anger. The things I take seriously, are love, commitment, children, and all the responsibilities therein. I don't leave, or cheat, or stay out all night drinking. I am a one woman man, if I date you I will date only you to see where it leads. If it goes further, you will always know where I am, and you'll be shown that you never have to wonder how much I appreciate you just for being there. When someone is waiting at home I will rush to be there too. I hold hands, and hug, and can sit in silence just enjoying your presence. Around my kids and I, you will hear the words "I love you" a thousand times a day, it's because we take those words seriously and mean it with all our hearts every time it is spoken.

I haven't updated in a while so here goes...
I adopted two more daughters this past May while in Cebu. It was something I have been working on for some time. They are 3 and 5 and now live with me. We are returning to Cebu in September.

I am looking for someone who wants to be loved deeply, and can give the same. Where you come from, where you are, or what your past holds is of no concern to me. I'm looking to build a future not a past. I do not care in the least what race you are, I actually prefer those of an ethnic background. I don't care about age either, it's just a number, if you're 18 or 36 I really don't care. I am slim and fit and expect you to be reasonably close to a normal weight for your body as well, and no that doesn't mean I expect a 6' tall woman to weigh 100lbs so save the hate mail. If your 6'4" and weigh 240 that's normal, if your 4'6" and weigh 240 no thanks. I have an outrageous metabolism (yes I know it's cheating) and take in 5-8000 calories a day without gaining an ounce. So if you count calories, you'll be dreaming of beating me to death with one of my 4lb steak salads I eat for a bedtime snack within a month.

Most importantly, I want to do the kids thing all over again. If this part of your life is over, I will not reply. If you have kids it's fine, I'm the worlds greatest dad, my kids will be glad to tell you (though I fear they may be biased). I have a skewed view of how great being a dad can be thanks to them, and can't imagine a life without kids in the house.
