I am the optimist. I look for simple pleasures and not so simple pleasures in life. I am an honest person who doesn’t play games with other peoples emotions and I expect the same in return. I enjoy hanging out with friends, dancing, going to the movies, outdoor activities, and quiet evenings at home. I listen to light and classic rock mostly, but I also enjoy country music. I like a good stage production, last thing I saw was The Lion King; that put the movie to such shame. I am not a drama queen,I'm pretty laid back and easy going.

I own my own home and my goal now is to get it fixed up enough so that when the market comes back up, it will be worth much more than I paid for it.

I commute to work, Belding to East Lansing. I work at MSU, so I hope you are a state fan if you are interested up to this point.

I would like to meet someone who has a good sense of humor to start out as friends and see where it takes us, somebody who can carry on a good conversation, and make me laugh. You must be honest, responsible and intelligent.

I do have children who are growing quickly (ages 13-19) and are the most important thing in my life. I am not looking for a father for them, they have one (married twice); just somebody that can be a friend to them.
