About Me
I am a 50+ years young female. I've been single for way too long and have decided to venture into the dating pool again. I have a wonderful job and a great family as well as very close friends. They'd describe me as a caring, funny and energetic kind of person who loves to live life to its fullest. I don't want to be around anyone who is prejudice, homophobic or self centered and controlling. I feel as though everyone is equal.
As you can see, my hobbies include Camping and outdoor activities, traveling (even though it's been quite a while), Texas Hold-'Em and other card games, as well as the occasional Bingo night out with the neighbors or just spending a relaxing night at home watching tv.
Right now I'm just looking forward to getting to know someone and seeing where it goes. I like a guy who is a go-getter and knows what he wants out of life or is getting what he's strived for. Somebody caring but not controlling and is willing to take the time to let things blossom. I've learned to be independent but am definitely not ruling out the potential to meet that special someone who knows how to treat a lady.
First Date
A nice first date for me would maybe include going to dinner at a nice restaurant, followed by coffee and some great conversation.
