UPDATE: I'm an adult, and I'm here for a jump-start on getting into the Fort Worth dating scene, since I'm extremely new here. I am not here for "Internet Friends", I remain in constant communication with my friends from California so that's about all the purely internet socialization I need. I'm looking for something REAL. People to hang-out with on the weekends, and some dates. If you joined a DATING SITE for random "chit-chat", please do not contact me. Oh, and if I message you first and you automatically know interaction could never happen, please tell me so I can stop wasting both our time.

ME: Well I just moved here to Fort Worth from California, and I know no one! Looking to meet friends, and hoping to possibly get into a relationship. Most people assume that I am rude when they first meet them but I assure you I am just very shy at first encounter. When I open up you'll see that I am a lover of intellectual conversation and I'll go out of my way to have one. I am not one hundred percent a nerd though... I do surf and snowboard (two sports I am grudgingly without since I moved), and I got to the gym at least five times a week for a minimum two hours.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: Basically, I want to have fun! I left a great group of friends back home and I'm hoping to find some people who can rival them and know how to have a great time. This standard is also applied to anyone I would date, I usually like to go on a first date with some one that I'm sure I would go on a second with, like previously mentioned, I'm new to the area and I'm down with not being picky, just talk to me for me to find out if I like you or not, and if I messaged you first, you can be certain I'm interested.

Normally I like a classic date, find something fun to do (the beach used to be my favorite choice), maybe see a movie, and, of course, a nice dinner. But that does not mean that that's all I'm willing to do, if you can think of something you'd rather do instead, I'm always up to try new things, or do other things I've done before if it accommodates you. Though keep in mind, if we're going to meet up and you give me the choice for the evening, the aforementioned scenario will likely be the choice.
