Are you out there? Why are you hiding behind a silly profile that says you can go "from jeans to silk in the same day" (who can't?), or that you want to meet someone who likes to "walk on the beach while holding hands" (who doesn't)? Come on. You're brighter than that. You need to take a chance and tell me who you really are because once we connect it will be fantastic. Maybe we'll find a new Thai restaurant, or just pick up a Mudd Pie at Trader Joe's. (late update: Trader Joe's doesn't carry these anymore! Oh no!) Who knows. We can argue about who's been to the best rock concerts or laugh about my latest misadventure in home repair. If you're outdoorsy, we'll go climb a mountain. And joining us will be the best dog in the world, my German Shepherd, Jewel. The good thing is that whenever you want to tell me about your great kids, or career, or travels, I'll listen and care about what you say (even if I forget some details later). And when it gets to the end of the day, we'll know what to do because everything is so right between us. So let's get going. It all can start with a cup of coffee, but you've got to let me know you're out there.
