I am a 29 year old guy still looking for the right girl for me. I went to the University of Alberta, earned my degree and now work for the federal government. I am currently in my first competition for a promotion and am quite excited about it. I very much enjoy what I do; the only drawback is the occasional night shift. In my spare time, I like to make people laugh and smile. I have a quick wit and have often thought about doing some improv comedy, or even stand up. I also enjoy attending improv/stand up when ever I can. While I can be silly and fun one moment, I am also wise enough to understand when a situation is serious and humour is not appreciated. My other interests are, of course, sports. I can carry on an intelligent conversation about most sports, but I am not the crazy sports guy that you can never get away from the TV. I also enjoy current events and can talk about anything in the news today. I am a good listener which allows me do unexpected special things for people with no good reason. This is likely one of the reasons I have such close friends and family. I'd do anything for them and them for me. Lastly, I love to spoil my nearly 1 year old Sheltie with walks and the odd treat. OK, maybe he gets a treat a little more often than I let on, but how does a guy say ‘no’ to that face?
The woman I am looking for is a classy and confident woman. She is independent and can do quite well on her own. She is a woman that doesn’t need me, but wants me. She is intelligent and is aware of the world around her. She must have a sense of humour and a great smile, or else it won’t work out with me. Ideally she has strong family values and is trustworthy/honest.
