Hey. I'm Matt.

If you want to know who I am, I'll happily fill you in. I love to laugh, I'm usually the joker around friends, and I have a track record for making people burst out laughing while drinking something. I usually get punched for that. =) I'm also sympathetic and empathetic to people's plights and problems. I'll try to help you out, because sadly I come from a family of snoops, so I like to put it to better use. Hell, it's why I'm gearing towards dabbling in newspaper journalism, finishing my career off nicely by writing fiction novels on the side. Writing's what I do, and I hear I'm good at it.

I'll tell you one thing that is absolutely key to who I am: I hate bureaucrats. I hate red tape, and I value justice like I value my life. I hate stress. I hate negativity. I'm not religious, but I believe in spirituality, ghosts, and I have a thing for the occult. I keep an open mind at all times, for all things. I think on my feet, and always live in the moment. I only occasionally plan for the future, but things always work out in the end. I'm resourceful, good with my hands, and good with my head. I'm thoughtful and help others in times of need. My friends and family are very important to me, because without them I'd be nothing. However, not all of my family are as supportive and well, as good to me as I'd like. It's a shame, but one that will be rectified soon, when I get the hell out of their hair, and move on with my life.

I consider myself somewhat old-fashioned in many things, such as taking people out to dinners and whatnot. I like to pay for their meals, and show them a good time. Usually for both my male and female friends. I always pay back my debts and treat people how I want to be treated. Give what you get and get what you give. Also, I'm kind of nutty. I have a messed up, proactive sense of humor, involving lots of singing and moving about and it's mostly raunchy or obscure or random. I sometimes just start singing about whatever I may be hearing or talking about.

For a lady, I'd say I'm just looking for someone who's not a tight-ass, can take a joke, and can put up with my occasional raunchiness. Hopefully, we also have like-minds and have similar tastes. And I apologize if you've read this and got the impression I'm a jackass, or something. I'm really not, or at least I do what I can. And I'm always trying to get better pictures up. Sadly, I'm not photogenic.

Most likely grab a cup of coffee (coffee's good), then I'd treat the both of us to dinner at a nice restaurant. Have a nice, relaxing meal and a couple drinks and just talk. Then, who knows. Maybe we could go for a walk through Assiniboine Park beforehand, or after, if it's not too late, I suppose.

To be honest, I'd rather just work out what we should do when we do it. I wouldn't want to make up all the plans and feel like an ass for coming up with something we won't both like. That's just...not very fair.
