O.K. here goes. I think i'm a guy next door type. No fancy cars or foreign travel with a chrome brief case for me. Carharts and boots or shorts/jeans and sandals are my usual attire. I don't like doing the bar/club scene so much anymore but I will go to a good pub any night. I do enjoy a night out on the town I just prefer live music or something a little more intimate. Campfires are always a nice way to spend an evening.
So that is why I'm here. Single male, no children, never married, employed, sober, mid thirties, educated, and living the dream everyday!(sarcasm) I "think" that I have a good sense of humour, I'm honest, patient, a little spontanious, always fun, playfull but not immature, creative and hard working. I like reading but I'm picky about who I read. I'm not a fitness junkie but i do have a gym membership and actually use it, enjoy mountain biking, canoeing, fishing and all that the area has to offer.
My music tastes are all over the place, from '80's metal to old southern rock to country, rap/hip hop, folk, etc. I just like "good music". I definately have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humour and I usually make jokes at my own expense and i really try not to take myself to seriously

I don't live at home with my parents, I own my own car, house, career, friends and all that goes with those but somehow I missed the memo when everyone decided to settle down. I think i was skiing or paddling but more than likely i was working.

I'm looking for a fun loving, active, adventurous, honest, playful type of girl for good times. I like to think that i have the same qualities but that is up to you. I'm looking for a partner so to speak, not just a lover(I'm sure there are other places to look for that) I have a job and i would prefer that you do as well.
I've been know to spend spare time fishing, reading in the sun, working on my cars, offroading, cycling or canoe tripping in the near north, or doing renovations on my house. My evenings are often spent finishing my renovations or heading out for a bbq or a bike ride after dinner at the local conservation area or just around town. I'm not a great cook but I'm learning and I try but cooking for one is just too boring sometimes. I love to spend my spare time outdoors being active whether running, riding, paddling, dirt biking or just hanging out with friends but after the bikes are put away i love to relax and watch a movie or read. A quiet night with a good girl is just as good as any live music but i get more butter on my popcorn.

I'm small town born and raised and I love it, spent time in the city but always found my way back to small towns. But I have traveled a bit and seen some places, done some things, have a few stories. hehehe
I still know how to be polite and what it means to treat a girl with respect. I still open doors for nice old ladies, only the nice ones though. The mean ones can get the door themselves.
