What can I say ... I guess that you could say that I am an enigmatic chameleon. I really enjoy doing many different things, and I have often found myself enjoying the music/interests/sports/etc that my friends like - as with every other person on the PLANET.

My musical taste has grown to encompass basically everything, as I can often be found to switch mp3s/internet radio stations to suit my mood (Pandora really rocks my socks off for my different musical tastes). Currently on my mp3 player, I have the History of Motown, Jimi Hendrix, Portishead, Massive Attack, Nine Inch Nails, a bunch of Beatles, as well as probably every one hit wonder you ever heard of in the last 25 years. Except Falco - I can’t stand the Austrians. Which makes life difficult since I work with one.

I love sports (watching and playing), especially frisbee and volleyball. I like to follow my teams (daaaaaaaaa bears, bulls, hawks, cubs, AND sox!) Yes, I am a fan of both baseball teams...who says you can’t have it both ways? *grin* If you would like to debate how someone can like both the cubs and the sox... feel free to drop me a line! Amazingly enough, I have a sense of humor, just like everyone else! Sometimes it is a bit ... sarcastic - which is usually how I can tell if I will get along with someone I have just met. If we get each other’s humor, then that is usually a good sign. If however, they get up and leave without a word halfway through one of my sentences, perhaps my sarcasm was a bit much for them - but at least I didn't waste their time :-) (or mine!)

I enjoy going out and doing many different things, from a concert, to hanging out at a bar chatting, to dancing in a club or going to the latest play. I also like to stay home and watch movies - I am a bit of a James Bond buff - though lately I have gotten into netflixed TV shows (The Wire, House). Blah blah blah. Basically, I like things - you like things, we all like things. I want to check out your things to see if I like them, and it would be nice if you checked out my things to find out if you like them. I work downtown for a college in IT, and I really love what I do. I guess the perfect job just fell into my lap, and it is a great thing! I am also in school for the third time (first time bachelors, second time, masters studies in history, third time masters in business information technology). Third times the charm, right? :-)

I do not really have a certain 'type'. What I look for is someone who has a personality, intelligence, and can engage in witty or deep conversations with me. She is an independent woman who is interested in getting to know each other first and is open to trying anything, from that quirky film to frisbee golf. I guess that I want someone who will expand my horizons, and who I can have a great time with while getting to know them. So... if this sounds good to you, drop me a line!

OH! Things I am good at:
Using emoticons :-) Sarcasm. Volleyball. Frisbee. Random bits of totally useless knowledge. Tuning a piano/harp/guitar by ear. Fixing a computer for free (or beer). Reading REALLY fast. Having an elastic face. Emoting and being empathetic.

I would love to dress up like its M F'in payday and paint the town red. Or not. Whichever.

I like to try anything once. Twice if I like it, and three times if it won't get me tossed into the klink.
