About Me
About me. I was born with an insatiable curiosity about everything and love the learning process. I'm a little on the shy side until I get to know you. Doesn't take long though. I'm very direct and to the point but seeing the humor in it all the way along with the general absurdity of life. But that's another story. What am I looking for here? Nothing. Nothing at all. So if something finds me, hey, that could be a good thing.
I love to build things (specially work with wood). I can fix damn near anything. Tools are my friends. I love building furniture (end/coffee tables, etc.). I love fixing things. I've only called a plumber once because I didn't have a snake. Science truly intrigues me. I love thinking outside the box, about possibilities. I love to figure out how things work.
Once, when I was a kid, my mother had two or three antique pocket watches. I had some of those tiny miniature screwdrivers so, naturally, I took them apart to see how they worked. Needless to say, that wasn't terribly well received when I realized it was a lot tougher to put them back together LOL.
I'm a hopeless romantic who can cuddle for hours. I'm a very tactile person and love touching. I love to get and specially give great back rubs. I'm loyal (strictly a one woman guy), honest to a fault and sincere. If I say it, I mean it and if I say I'm going to do it, you can put it in the bank. No games here.
I'm looking for a critical thinker with many interests and someone who's open to lots of possibilities. I'm very laid back and easy to get along with. I'm a really good listener and what people say and how they say it is important to me. I'm a musician who practices law. Go figure.
Music is simply in my blood. I didn't put it there. Honest. It just is. I started playing piano by ear when I was 6 when my aunt took me to see the Al Jolson story. When I got home, I started playing one of the songs I'd heard with one finger. That eventually let to two, then three, and then all ten got involved.
So, someone who appreciates Blues, R'nB, Funk, Soul, Pop music would be a plus. Can I serenade you on the piano?
Sense of humor is critical and must love chocolate and dogs or it's no deal. If you can't laugh at life and all it's subtle (and some not so subtle) craziness, we probably wouldn't get along.
I guess I'm best characterized as a jack of all trades and master of none (although I am pretty good at some things).
First Date
What would I do for a first date? I think a casual meeting for the first time would be best. I think we'll both know pretty much right away if that magic chemistry is there or not.
I'm very easy to talk to and a great listener. I really pay attention and appreciate the same in response. Just have a good time and a few laughs and get to know each other. That's good for starters. We can see where it goes from there.
I appreciate women who can come right out and tell me what they want and not make me have to guess. Contrary to popular belief, men are not mind readers.
As far as looks go, if you were to ask me exactly what's "she" would look like, I'd have to answer the same way as that Supreme Court justice who, when asked to define pornography said "I can't define it, but I'll know it when I see it". Maybe you will too. You never know.
