There are a few things to know about me...

I'm late not early, slow not fast,
I really like things that last.

Please no coffee, I just like tea,
Eschew roses, it's carnations for me,

Whole wheat scones with black currant jam,
No bologna or refried spam.

Tiramisu or Madras curry,
Spicy, hot? What's the worry?

Chinese, Italian, German, too,
Any kind of food will do!

Except not fast, remember I'm slow
Take your time is the way to go.

Lots and lots of hugs and kisses,
Really, no need to do the dishes.

Knights in armour go away,
Dragons I do love to slay.

Money? Great. I've got some to,
It's only there to help you do.

More or less, isn't the best,
It's how you use it that's the test.

Walk not drive, I'm not into speed,
Boys oh boys, I love to read.

I really don't like Mr.Seuss,
In his brain, some things were loose.

To write about a saucy cat,
A full grown man? Imagine that!

I'd rather cummings or Silverstein,
There musings came out rather fine.

But Seuss is suitable in a pinch,
He's sure to make the stuck-ups flinch.

And on to bigger and better thoughts,
All about me, connect those dots.

Oh my God! Is that a rat,
Yes indeed, a rat is that.

Georgio Armani is his name,
For the plague he's not to blame.

He doesn't bite but he might purr,
They grind their teeth, their eyes ablurr.

Horses, dogs and rodents, too,
For sure you know I'll take the zoo.

Oh for three wishes, what would it be?
Steadfast and strong, like an old oak tree.

Deep in thought is really nice too,
Make me laugh when I am blue.
