I'm a financially secure guy with a good job, looking for someone who wants to share some good times. Its as simple as that. I'm 6'-1", about 260 lbs., with blue eyes and brown hair with a touch of gray. I'm no movie star but I don't think I'm that hard on the eyes either. I'm clean, disease & drug free, I don't smoke, I'm college educated and professionally employed.
My hobbies include cycling, hiking, camping, backpacking (with my Boy Scout Troop) and working on my cars and motorcycles. At my age, "goals" sounds pretty funny to talk about. So all I'll say is, I just want to enjoy life and make the most of it. And I'd like to be able to share that with someone.
I'm a man of simple means. I'm happiest with a kind word and warm meal. I pull my own weight and I expect the same from my partner. I have two adult sons off at college, so I'm done having kids. C'mon, I'm 50 for cryin' out loud. But I don't have any problem if you still have kids at home. My sons mean the world to me. But they pretty much lead their own lives now and only come to me for damage control. You know, "Dad, I need your help. I screwed up and I need you to help me fix this."
And lastly, and I know this might sound bad to some, but I feel that's its important to throw it out there, ...... I am not looking to get married anytime soon and possibly never again. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a player at all. In fact, I'm the exact opposite. I'm looking for someone who wants to be in an exclusive, one on one, monogamous relationship. But I just don't need all the legal paperwork that goes along with being married, that keeps two people together once the relationship has run its course. Couples should stay together because they WANT to stay together. Not because they have a legally binding contract. So if you're someone who 'needs' to be married, and needs that contract, then I'm probably not the man for you. I hope that makes sense.
I can't think of anything else to say. So I'll stop rambling.
