I enjoy doing many things outside: kayaking, hiking, X-country skiing, and open to other things. To be 100% honest I am a returning hiker. Was active years ago and am getting back into it. I am also getting up to strength to get back into rowing for sport. I also have been enjoying my home improvements

What makes me unique is how "main stream" friends find me to be after they assume I am not that mainstream. Artcars, Burningman, Guns, Liberal by nature with a tilt toward libertarian. As a single parent I raised a boy and a girl, was a campfire leader, was involved in the PTO, and more.

I would like to find a gal whose "vibes" would gel with mine. Although I put dating as what I am looking for, what I really would like to find is a LTR. So dating allows time to get to know each other a little, and go from there. Why do they have such little boxes and such open-ended questions?

Music I like, food I like, and where I want to travel to next all have an unlimited number of answers. I love stadium rock shows, and old folk music, even some older country music. I like Thai, Pho, fish, vegan, and a good BBQ rib is always a hit to my taste buds. I want to travel to Peru, Argentina, Spain, Morocco, and back to India some time soon.

For a first date I would enjoy something a little active with enough ability to chat. Kayaking if that is something you already do, or just a walk/hike in the foothills. With the winter coming we might get snow and could X-country ski in a local park. Okay that might be a longshot. Maybe just meeting someplace warm and dry and play a game of Battleships or Chess or darts or pool. So many options how could a person go wrong?
