First of all I hate doing things like trying to describe my personality. Others do a far better and more varied job of it than me. Living in the north has definitely infused me with a sharper edge to my personality. I like to convey my thoughts directly at times without so much southern "sugar coating". The aspects of my personality that I have retained from my upbringing in the south are courtesy and tradition. I have an outgoing personality and was always surrounded by friends in college. I like people with humor and wit. I feel that almost anything I want in life, I can attain with steady perseverance. I like people who have their own personalities and have strong enough ones to be able to stand on their own two feet. I am told that I am funny and that I am a good listener. I see relationships as a way of further exploring and expanding upon foundations that have been formed within me (not trying to magically create chemistry or trying to mold someone into what they think the ideal partner should be). On a lighter side I like the outdoors, going to homecoming games, meeting up with a group of old friends or spontaneously making new acquaintances. My ideal women would be responsible, honest, and comfortable in her own skin. I like women that can be feminine and delicate at one moment and then in an instant wrestle you down to the ground. I like women who believe in commitment and are willing to work on issues as they invariably arise. My ideal girlfriend would like to cuddle and would never turn down a hug and a kiss. I guess no matter what I write, experience has shown me that the people you date are a random mixture of things you do and do not like. You have to have a lasting chemistry.
First Date
First date...definitely depends on who you are going with. Maybe a Braves Game, the High, a wine tasting, charitable event...Come to think of it, how about getting a six pack, two lawn chairs and finding a night softball league game! You could just pick a color and start cheering!
