Why I'm here: I'm a pretty average guy (I think). I have dreams and desires. I have good job, I own a home (which is always under construction lol) (has anyone else noticed that "lol" now seems to mean "I don't have anything else to say on that subject?). I have a dog and a cat. They love each other and wrestle, it's hilarious.

I only watch football or other sports when I'm with a group of friends. I like sports, I just don't follow them. I like books and movies. I like tattoos. I have some. Not into heavy piercings, although some are alright and can be fun. :)

I enjoy all outdoor sports: hiking, bicycling, snowboarding, wakeboarding, etc. And frisbee with my dog of course (He's awesome!).

Anyways, I have decided its time to start looking for a life time partner. I'm not afraid of commitment. I do have a pretty good idea of what kind of person I need to be with. The key word here is.......PATIENT. I am kind, thoughtful, and generous, just not always patient myself. Nobodies perfect.

I find it funny that almost every profile on here starts with "I'm independent" even though everyone on this site is looking to meet people in one form or another. I have slightly pessimistic/sarcastic sense of humor sometimes (Otherwise I am light hearted and a little goofy). I am independent also, but I would rather have a PARTNER that I could trust and rely on when needed. You know, tell you that crap you need to hear even if it sucks to hear it. Or say the nice things when needed. And be able to tell the difference at least 50% of the time. I don't NEED somebody in my life. I want somebody in my life.

I have been trying internet dating to meet people only because there aren't very many eligible candidates in my day to day life (I work in the construction industry). And the sports that I engage in are kind of individual sports. Have you ever tried striking up a conversation at the gym (all the while wondering "do I smell" lol)? Talk about uncomfortable. Or catch up with someone hiking on the trail in the middle of the woods. How about while snowboarding (except in the lodge at the bar. I don't spend much time there). :) Anyways, rolling the dice.

Any introduction setting that is comfortable for us both. I like pizza and beer. But I can also order off of the italian menu and find a wine to match. I prefer an open forum though. Such as; The Rock, Starbucks, Marymoor Dog Park.
