*** Thought of the day: I am amazed that someone can read a profile and one email and be able to say "we aren't a match" NOT on what I look like (attraction IS important afterall), but what I wrote... lol ***

It takes communication to learn about someone or grow to like them or enjoy time with them. Not these billboards... but here goes...

I know what I'm looking for and think I'm emailing her when I do send an email. I won't email more than once unless I'm just being an idiot...lol. Life is to be lived... I am happy...and will die happy... I had/have many goals, many I have reached...some I haven’t and I know there is a level that I can't achieve alone.

I'm looking for a woman/partner... she can be independent, a great mother (the we come first...sorry), addicted to her career, etc... and still be a feminine woman. Nothing soothes me like having a partner next to me. I thrive in chaos... just ask the Army... yet I like consistency. I have a crazy sense of humor…I don't show it much here because it doesn’t translate well in cyber space. I really want an equal partner that I can respect... she accepts me as I am. She should be proud with what she has accomplished... she is active in her way. She knows how to laugh at herself (and me). I cannot read women...Educate me.

I can't remember what general said this... but it gives me chills every time I think about it and I paraphrase here: "Nobody prays for peace more than a soldier; and nobody will defend that peace like that same soldier.”

I have 67 true heroes that I'm proud of every day. They stand behind me, follow me, and rely on me to lead them back home to families I only dream of having. They are 3rd Herd, my platoon, my men and women. If SHE can accept me and be my partner, she will be my hero, too.
