It's safe to say that I'm a pretty easy going guy. Laid back, silently philosophical, trustworthy, humorous and painfully loyal. Professionally involved in technology and passionately interested in all that is The Arts. Characterize me as one of those few people who not only appreciate the wonder of the oil painting, but can become genuinely absorbed by the emotion that fed the brush strokes. Very much into music and sound - electronica, classical, experimental, avant-garde and even the magical and mysterious sounds of nature and industrialism. I discover new music from the likes of public radio, friends and little-known live music cafes while my daily news comes from NPR. So yes, I'm a bit off mainstream. And...wait for it...I'm also a musician, songwriter, recording engineer, pianist, synthesist, drummer and bassist. That's where I channel most of my creative energy on a regular basis. But since there's not enough time in the day, I always seem to find myself with surplus creative energy left waiting to be channeled elsewhere. Frustrating, but I manage without collapsing into a ball of discontent. Healthy diet and exercise is extremely important to me as well as having a solid spiritual foundation, so I'm hoping to find someone with similar traits. That's probably enough for now. I'll save some of the details for later...
