I am your Basic 37 year old wise acre. Nothing is more important to me than a good laugh, usually at our own foolish idiosyncrasies. Sometime just at myself. I can usually find something to laugh about even during the worst of personal maelstroms. I am a glass half full type of person, although sometimes the glass has precisely 4.3 ounces of water in it. I believe in others (even when they don’t believe in themselves) and always try to lend a helping hand when asked. I am at a point in my life where I am happy with who I am and what I am about. I want what is inside to shine through. My actions should match my values. Do as I say not as I do has always been BS. I am honest and loyal. I for whatever reason am a person others seek out for advice. I have a unique ability to look at an issue from all sides not just the one I am pulling for, it comes in very handy. Especially when you are just yanking someone’s chain about a topic they are passionate about. I love a lively debate!

I am also a Father and truly enjoy all that it has to offer. Nothing is quite like the handmade Christmas gifts or the essays that talk about their heroes (and they list their Dad). Does anybody ever really have enough bean plants or grass growing in cups around the house? I can’t wait to work the apple bobbing booth at next years Fall carnival. You see I told them the way to win is to push the apple all the way to the bottom of the wash basin with their face and bite it. This one little kid was in all the way to his shoulders. It was hilarious! Even My son fell for it, LOL! It does actually work though.

I have a job that I love but never work. To say that what I do is work would be a disservice to all those people who actually work for a living. I help DR’s, RN’s, and assorted support personnel with their computer issues so that they can focus on patient care and not some stupid computer. Plus it is easy to me. It also fills that male need to control shit. Kids don’t always listen, your girlfriend isn’t someone you should try to control, and I have just given up hope on most people being able to drive and not kill me! So my job fills that need in a healthy way. Besides if the computer doesn’t listen I will reboot that piece of crap.

Finally, what I am looking for. Pretty simple: an equal. I do not wish to follow nor lead. I am looking for someone who is funny. A person who enjoys being out on the river or camping as much as a night on the town. Quick witted and Sarcastic (In a Nice Way) also score points in my book. I like a woman who has her own opinions and is not afraid to express them.

Something simple: Mini golf, a walk in the park, a picnic. Or a stroll through nature depending on the person. I have been to enough Starbucks locations to last a lifetime. One more dinner and a movie date and I am going to shoot myself in the face.
