I am a laid-back individual that takes life seriously, but not overly serious because I'll never make it out alive.

I have learned what is important in life which to me is love of family and friends.

I am a single parent so much of my time is taken up between work and my child.

I am very straight-forward and pretty much never beat around the bush. I say what I mean and mean what I say. I DO NOT believe in reading between the lines or double-entendre.

I am looking for someone that believes in love and marriage with a basis in friendship. My ideal situation would be for my mate to be my best friend. I NEED to know that when the chips are down that she'll always have my back. Further, I'd like her to have the understanding that love is reciprocal. I am a hopeless romantic. I believe in romance, love and marriage. There is no greater joy than to be in love with someone and they reciprocate that love.
