My life has been an adventure with its trials and triumphs. The first half was difficult being raised lovingly by a struggling single mom. The second half blessed, leading me to do antipoverty and philanthropic work of my choosing. I’m a bit of a radical politically and would love someone politically aware and a partner in crime…. or close to crime maybe?

I love to travel and recently went to Cuba... an adventure!! I want to learn about new cultures, or hold hands while people watching at a cafe in Paris, or find a small jazz or salsa club. Equality, justice and fairness are deep personal values. My eyes will water when I see an unusual act of kindness. I can and will take calculated risks and I'm moved by courage as much as by kindness, by children, by happiness.

I was raised by a passionate Latina with a lot of love and a lot of heart, who died when I was young! I know what love is and I have a lot of passion. I’m Latin at heart. Care to learn salsa with me? Care to practice Spanish with me, or play the guitar and sing? I also like architecture, design, building furniture and I can fix most things. I love to drive into the hills with the top down. I like to go hiking, to walk on the beach on a tropical Island. I also tend to believe in fate, but know that you also make your own fate by how positively you live, what your eyes are willing to see and your heart is willing to accept!

The person that I'm seeking would be a bit of a bad girl but full of sweetness at heart. I liked the relationship depicted in the movie Notebook, where we could argue and kiss, then argue just to have another excuse to kiss.... or not argue.... just kiss!! If you are just a sweet person and want to just settle into a comfortable life, well, it may not work with me .... though I'm a sucker for sweet and sensual !!
