I could sit here and write down all the words that people have used to describe me as a person. Most of them all good, but if I wanted to be completely honest, I’d have to include the bad however few (as compared to the good) their may be. Doing so however doesn’t really give insight to who you really are.
Describing ones self in order to attract that one person who could potentially be the woman of your dreams, is a serious matter. You want to sound intelligent, charming, and witty. You want to be honest and open yet you aren’t perfect so flaws do exist. Should I tell you that I’m a hopeless romantic, believing in love and that between two people it is a force that can move mountains (at least between them). Do I tell you that I love affection. Whether it is in public or private, the act of just touching that special person in some way is very important. I love to cuddle and kiss and hold that special person. Whether we are relaxing at home or out for the evening, generally what it is we do isn’t the important thing, its how we do it as a couple. It’s who we are with that makes it special. Reading that, I sound a little less manly so now I have to express my manly-man side. For some woman, this may sound offensive but I like to take charge. To be in control (NOT CONTROLING). To lead. That may sound rather selfish and in its own text, it is. But the truth is that as a man I lead by putting the desires of that special person before my own. Example, if I were to make plans for a night out and was all excited about it, but when you come home from work I see that you aren’t feeling well or just need a night to relax. Do I drag you out anyways knowing you won’t enjoy yourself? No, I conceal our plans, maybe run you a bubble bath, make you relax with your head on my lap watching a good movie till you fall asleep. Never making you feel guilty because plans have changed. This too may sound a little less than manly, but it is what a true man does. A man isn’t judged by how many beers he can pound down in an evening or how tough he is. I’ve gone that route when I was younger and there was always someone stronger and someone who could drink more. He’s judged by knowing that in any situation, no matter how beat down he may be. He still gets up and keeps trying. He’s judged by how good a father he is to his children. Putting in a hard days work. By making his woman feel special daily. I would say that that’s the type of man I am.
What I Believe:
Hair is meant to be played with, eyes meant to be starred into, ears are meant to be nibbled on, lips are for kissing, a face is to be caressed, a neck meant to be kissed on, shoulders are for rubbing, arms for lightly drawing on, hands are meant to be held, and a body is meant to be enveloped in a hug or held close.
Harsh words are unnecessary.
Honesty is key
Games should only be played with dice, cards, or a controller.
Communication involves listening as well as talking.
A true kiss involves more than just lips meeting.
A man can be a man and still be soft and tender and gentle
A woman should always be made to feel special
And a heart is a fragile thing and should always be cared for, looked after, and fed to help it grow.
