I am a busy happy girl who likes my life but feel that something is missing; or someone. I have been working alot for a long time but find myself with some free time lately so I thought I might use it to make some new friends. I have lots already but I think people are a continuous resource to us and I think that relationships should be cherished and nourished. I think that men and women should respect each others differences even if we don't understand them. I am on the Board of Directors of the Durham Region Humane Society and animals are my passion. I like to be productive most of the time so I do alot of volunteer work. Surely we were put on this earth for more than just to take care of ourselves. This all makes me sound really serious when I'm really not. I am usually the comic relief in most situations and feel like making someone smile is the best thing that you can do for them. I believe in live and let live. I don't beg people to spend time with me. I am even tempered and usually up. I am everyones bartender(not for drinks; for advice and I'm a great listener. I like my life to be simple. I am very independent and can take care of myself but I would like a soft place to fall every once in a while. I am not looking for an intimate encounter but feel that a healthy sex life is an important part of any relationship(well not any).I think I hear the beep; my time must be up.
First Date
I think a first date should be short. Profiles are fine but you can't tell if its there or if it isn't until you meet someone. I think someplace public but quiet would be great to have a chance to talk. I am open to anything though. I think who you are spending your time with is way more important than what you are doing.
