After spanning some time on both ends of the spectrum, I'm finally starting to find that happy medium concerning how serious I should be taking life here on planet earth. I do what I gotta to do what I wanna. As far as interests go, I spend a lot of time nurturing my talentless amateur musician side. I've played guitar for a while now and I've recently picked up the keyboard, I'll make music with anyone who'll have me. I'm a big fan of blues, jazz, punk/ska, classic rock, and country music. (huh, what a dumb mix of genres) As far as my other interests go, the outdoors are fine by me. I like to go camping, boating, and play golf. I'm also a car guy, but my knowledge of locking differentials and camshafts hasn't ever done much to help me impress women. The pastime of all pastimes is laughing. I enjoy doing so as well as inducing it upon others.

So is it a good idea or bad idea to toss a couple of dislikes in here? I think video games are a black hole on earth. I'm terrible at bowling, so I have dismissed it of having any entertainment value. Now for the statement that will throw me in the gutter: (bada bing!) religion disturbs the bejesus out of me.

The main reason I'm doing this is to feed my tremendous lust to meet and talk to new people. I'm definitely down for dating, and I'm at a point in my life where I'm not going to run away from the potential of something long term.

That ought to do it. In the case that there happens to be a trivia tournament out there all about me, this will be enough for you to hold your own for a while. If you plan on being a serious contender, just let me know.

I rarely have a plan at all for a first date, but I always let on that I do. I'm the type of person who prefers local restaurants and hangouts. How about somewhere were we've both never been?
