Hello, let me begin by saying that I am rewriting my profile. I know many have viewed the other one and found it to show I am a woman with many qualities. I've decided to do this only because it may have driven away those who felt it came across as being alittle harsh. I'll try to keep it simple. ********This is an update as of 08/10/08****** Please read everything posted here, in my profile. I listed that I smoke occasionally. I fully understand that this is a problem for some people. I am only asking that you not bother to contact me if it is.. I do not wish to take the time to begin a conversation with someone only to have to worry whether or not he had read it previously. Enough said.
First about me. Strong willed at times, independent, honest, intelligent. I'm divorced many years, more than 25 to be exact. I am the mother of two grown, beautiful people. My children are very special to me. Even in our adult relationship, we find one, that is very strong with a deep foundation of love and respect. I have been employed in the same profession for over 20 years. I'm an imaging specialist...a fancy name for taking x-rays in the O.R. I enjoy sports but find Saturday football, watching the buckeyes, EXCITING!!!!. Do you know how many times I wanted to give Tressel a call to ask exactly what he was thinking? Probably, just as many as you, lol!!!! I think the Browns may be looking at a good season this year, so I'll leave that one, alone. I love to cook but don't have the chance to, much any more. KInd of hard to make a pan of lasagna for one.
I believe I'm someone with a good sense of humor, and find that the simple things in life, are ones that I enjoy the most. A quiet dinner, a nice weekend picnic in the park, or a trip to the zoo. Shared nights, relaxing on the couch, watching a movie are also fun. I believe I'm someone with a romantic side that still exists. Holding hands and experiencing closeness.....all that goes with that, are feelings that I can express with the right person. That brings me to whom I'd like to meet.
I will say that I am attracted to someone taller. I find a man who has taken care of himself to be more appealing to me. I believe chemistry to be one of the most important keys in any relationship. It begins with that first glance, maybe your eyes or smile are the first thing I notice, arrousing my interest. I would like to meet someone who is stable in both employment and living arragements. I believe distance between people is a hard obstacle to overcome, so I would like to meet someone who lives with in a reasable range. We might find ourselves wanting to share time during the week. Honesty and respect are qualities I find essential. Be yourself, don't be afraid to open up and share your life experiences. I would like to meet a gentleman, a man who still believes in opening the car door and a man who still realizes the need for romance.
In closing I'll say that I will not entertain sexual conversations. Even in todays society, it's not the proper way to begin something. This is as hard for me, as it is you. I am not here to play games....I feel I'm at a place in my life where I want to meet my life partner. If I sound interesting, drop me a few words. I'll at least review your profile.
