I have interests in music (Nick Drake, some World Music, Cuban ballads, Elvis Costello, found sounds, etc.), psychology, spirituality, sports, and nature. I also dabble in photography and graphics. I'm also a fairly health-conscious vegetarian but do eat fish at times.

I’ve a Latin heritage yet am also a NYer who loves to assimilate what speaks to me from other cultures. Though I’m comfortable on my own, I’d rather be with people. I love to laugh and am playful both physically and intellectually. I like yoga, meditation, walks, swimming, and dancing. I can be reflective and enjoy watching people as well as sunsets. I love traveling and just got back from Buenos Aires (Oct 13, 2009). I've also been to Vietnam, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Guatemla, France, Copenhagen, Prague, Stockholm, England and Ireland plus I've got Morocco, Turkey and India heavily marked. I would love to meet someone game for joining me. I’m affectionate and loyal yet forgiving when someone steps on my toes. Adventurous and curious but not a thrill junkie either.

I guess a drink or coffee somewhere we could talk and hear each other but that would be more of a meeting or information gathering :-) than a date. A first date might be going to the museum, then a walk in Central Park, and then dinner peppered with conversation and getting to know each other.
