I don't need to feel that instant click -- but I want to! I'm pretty easy to get along with and strive to openly communicate my thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations at all times. What you see is what you get, and I'm looking for the same in my other half. I have reached a point in life where establishing a "soul-mate" relationship is highly desirable. This forum is about expanding horizons and finding the right person. I want a friend, lover, and partner.

I can be pretty silly and playful at times, but I also have a serious side. I go with the flow and do my best to maintain a healthy mix of my male, female, and child qualities. I always try to do the "right thing", but sometimes I screw up!

I have been independent for many years and know that when I connect with the person that is right for me -- it will have been well worth the wait!

I'm thinking more in terms of a meet and greet! You can call it a first date, but it's very difficult to establish mutual interest without initial face-to-face contact. Just about any casual venue would work -- a drink, or bite to eat seems appropriate. If things go well, we could have a second phase and roll into another activity or plan an outing for a "true" first (or second) date. I enjoy live music and that would be my choice. I can catch a band I know most any weekend -- usually in the neighborhood or sometimes a little road trip -- Good Times!
