First Date: the beginning of the interview process. may take a few interviews... er,
dates, to glean a good picture of someone. lol

I don't care if the glass is half full or half empty. I still only have half a fricken glass!!

EVERYONE DIES!! So you are a hell of a lot better off to live your life now...than to look back & wonder what you missed.


Dislikes: online dating (because I don't have the time to get around and meet everyone personally), older & wiser (I enjoyed young & stupid, well... I re-cooperated faster anyway), people who use their cars for phone booths (you're slowing down traffic & creating a hazard, especially in the passing lane), gray days, indecision, a dancing fricken banana, knowing that my daughters won't always need dad, sometimes I swear, people who live off the sweat of my brow (because they can, yess... the lazy asses), the fact that I smoke (and can't find the intestinal fortitude to quit), knowing that I'm just human, people who think they're right because they say so, swinging for the fence & coming up short, people who use DATING SITES to try & find new FRIENDS, I don't find myself to be very photogenic, etc., etc.

Likes: online dating (because it gives some of the funniest reading material), my job, the smell of an on-coming storm, thunderstorms, the smell after the storm has passed, the sun on my face, knowing my daughters won't always need dad (yes... I do know it's in the other one, it's called pride, & it cuts both ways), road trips in my convertible, a d*mn good joke, music (it stirs the soul), a torrid debate, a gentle conversation, sunrise & sunset, shooting pool, card games, hugs from my daughters, a full moon winter night, a good book (double duh, who likes the bad ones?), the scent of a woman, my best friends, people who think they're right & are willing to prove it, people who accept me for who I am, etc., etc.

I'm not in touch with my feminine side, if I've got one, I aint found it. I'm not in touch with my inner child either. I don't have the time to have a mid-life crisis, but the media will gladly tell me what the new crisis is. I am human and a man (that's code for I might have to get my foot out of my mouth at any given moment).

We laugh... we cry... we dance on the bar & shoot out the lights. Then we run like hell before the cops get there.
