Update 10/2009

Ladies, I have been battered, bruised, and shaken but as 007 says I'll take mine stirred not shaken. i have persevered. I have a technical job that is quite hard to explain but if you ask I would be glad to try. I make a good living, take care of the business I need to with my 17 year old son and am just looking for a friend, cohort, someone to have a blast with, and lover in time. I am worth it.


Hey There, I am Mike. Hmmm? Okay I am recently divorced, after a year separation. I was married 18 years + 1 living together, and have a 22 year old step son grown up and gone. I also have a son who is 17 years old that lives with his mother. I have a secure job at a university and been there 17 almost 18 years so I guess you would call me a glutton for punishment ;)or at least I have that much patience. Students keep me young! I have a big heart. I like having fun where ever that might take us. I have learned from the up's and downs but I do the best I can and make lemonade!

I am good with my hands in all sorts of respects. Before my divorce, I spent a year re-doing the house we lived in. I gutted it and re-did the wiring, the plumbing, and OBoy, did I get good at tape and bedding sheetrock since we replaced it all. I can work on cars...learned that through necessity. I am a tinkerer and a fixer at heart.

If you were to see me at Fry's or really anyplace that has gadgets I would be the guy pushing all the buttons and switches to see what they do. Never been asked to leave but I do get really funny looks.

I like to cook, it's soothing and when I'm done it's usually really good!

Music, I like all kinds. I love to have a good dance beat! Jazz(old style), Salsa, Alternative Rock, Rock, some Country, some Classical, Zydeco on 89.3, and 80's music. Go Figure?!

In general, Bein' Up to No Good ;) Computer's...Go Linux...Penguin Pride. Alternative Energy, mainly wind power. Dancing, Having a great night out whatever that means. I want to build a wind turbine generator. Watching birds from my porch in the mornings.

First date? Take a tour of the stars in my very own spaceship! What can I can I say I dream big! Okay, a nice dinner, coffee, a beer or a drink with good conversation, that would do just fine!
