Hello.....I'm Lars,

I'm a 42 yr old well "edumacated", completely unpretentious professional who is originally from Holland. I came to the states at an early age and lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas (the same small town where "good ole boy" Bill Clinton grew up chasing little girls and pulling their pig tails and sneaking around and smoking cigars!).....and YES dammit, I do wear shoes and have all of my "teef"! And NO dammit, I don't have any "youngins" by my sister.......YET! (but we ain't giving up) lol My "gene pool" is rather strange, my Dutch grandfather married a Cherokee indian that he met on a reservation in Oklahoma.....so I guess that makes me kind of a "mixed mutt" (that probably explains why dogs love me!).

Before I go any farther, I want to say that I am in a very fortunate position to live anywhere in the world as long as I have internet access......and if the right person came into my life, I would gladly relocate. The very last thing that I'm going to let stand in the way of happiness with someone that I love would be "geography"! The world is getting increasingly smaller each day and we are never more than "six degrees of separation" from anyone in the world......I'm hoping to find that "special someone" in which there are "zero degrees of separation"!

Tho I do well financially, I tend to measure my real "wealth" in terms of HEALTH, HAPPINESS, LOVE and LAUGHTER! I understand the difference between "material things" and "internal riches" and I hope you do as well. Humor is a absolute must for me. I believe in the old adage: "Learn to laugh at yourself.....if you don't, then others surely will." (so true). I hope to find a companion, partner, best friend, fellow adventurer, confidante, soul mate.....and of course, a passionate and uninhibited lover! I have a very engaging personality....so if you enjoy fun and laughter, chances are pretty good that we will enjoy one another's company! I'm looking for someone who "gets it". What exactly is "it" you may ask? For me, "it" is the realization that the truly best things in life......aren't really "things"! I feel so sorry for guys who want to be seen with nothing but "arm candy".....I been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt......very boring! Give me that gal that can go from a campfire to a banquet in less than an hour wearing nothing on her face but a little lip gloss and a big, beautiful smile. Yep, I want what most guys want (no dammit, not a nympho who owns a liquor store).....I want a gal who's a lady in public and a freak in the bed! To me, a gal with a great sense of humor is hotter than a "freshly f**ked fox in a forest fire"!

I view myself as more "spiritual" than religious. Tho I was raised as a Christian in the Lutheran church, I believe very strongly in the "commonality" of all the world's major religions. I just don't believe that any ONE religion has a monopoly on god! I find beauty and truth in Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Confucianism, and most importantly.....NATURE. If I ever join a "traditional" church again, I will look for one that rather than having "Ten Commandments"....it has just 7 commandments and 3 "suggestions"! LOL I sometimes feel closest to "God" when I am around old people and children......old people for their wisdom, and children for their innocence. Seems to me it's us "inbetweeners" that screw the world up?

Trust me when I tell you that your family is going to love me, and your girlfriends are going to be green with envy! (How's that for confidence!) lol So if you think that you might be up for some great conversation, a subtle libation, and possible perspiration.....I hope to hear from you soon!

I enjoy good food, great conversation, music, dancing, movies, documentaries, working the crossword, working out, hiking, camping, the outdoors, travel, and committing "random acts of kindness" to people that are less fortunate than me......and I love taking spur of the moment "no set destination" trips off the beaten path and stopping at little out of the way "mom and pop" stores to listen to lively conversation and get a sense of the local lore! Would you like to join me? I crave the nights where the light comes from a candle and the heat comes from us!

Soooooooooo.....here I am in 2-dimensional representation. I have a good bit of height, I work hard at not having much width, and I work all the time at gaining depth......but I'm much better in 3-D! I'm 5'11, 173 lbs, I have a toned athletic build, gorgeous grin and pretty teeth, I always try to look and smell nice........and I have eyes to die for!

(..........did I forget to mention modest too?) lol

How about we start off by slipping into our favorite old pair of jeans and our "cleanest dirty" sweatshirts......and enjoying the outdoors together! And hopefully if lightning strikes and "chemistry, communication and connection" are present, then may I at least fantasize about what it would be like to wake up to you one morning, with you walking up behind me at the breakfast table wearing nothing but one of my long sleeve cotton shirts (buttoned just once in the middle/ NO panties) and wrapping your arms around me and pulling me back into the bedroom? (Hey......a guy can still dream can't he?) lol I forgot to mention that I am very good in bed......I hardly ever steal the covers and I never fall off onto the floor!
