I like to cross stitch (a type of sewing), read, playing with my pets (a cat and a dog), swimming, keeping in touch with friends, going to renaissance faires, and occasionally going shopping. I dislike using foul language, being rude to others, those who care only for themselves, and people who think life revolves around sex. I want to finish school and someday settle down with a special guy, and get a nice job too. I would like to meet a guy who's pretty down to earth, who truly cares for others, and those who are not afraid to show their feelings towards someone they like.

I like renaissance faires, playing in the SCA, going to Medieval Times, dressing up in costume (or garb as we call it in the SCA), and freaking out the mundane (another SCA term) when I like to wear a costume to places other than a renaissance faire, or SCA event, but this usually occurs in one of two ways: 1) going to eat at a restaurant with fellow SCAers, 2) going to Medieval Times in costume.

Also, if you are not able to accept that I like medieval and renaissance style stuff and don't plan on changing despite another's opinion, then that's a sign that a potential match may not work if the potential match doesn't like that.

For a first date, probably something fairly short like maybe going bowling, or going to a movie and maybe dinner after the movie.
