Why are these so hard to write when you actually sit down and write them? Right now, life is good! I'm done with college, just got promoted at my job, and I have an awesome group of friends. So why am I here?

Although I go out and have fun with my family and friends, I miss doing things as a couple with someone special. I'm at a place in my life where I feel quite comfortable, and I'm focused on goals I put off while in college. I don't need to be dating or set up with people to keep myself busy, however, I'd love to meet that woman that knocks my sock off. The one I can't wait to call and tell my friends and family about. Like my headline says, I'm waiting for that friendship that's finally set to music.

Music has been very important to me throughout my life. I should probably warn you I listen to a hard rock and metal, however, my collection is large and you may be just as scared that I listen to classical. If I made an perfect mix cd, it would include:

Like most people, I also love movies and tv. I could watch The Goonies, Tombstone, Sleepless in Seattle, and 10 Things I Hate about you over and over again. I'm almost ashamed to mention that Ace Ventura is one of my favorites. On tv, I watch Psych, Warehouse 13, The Amazing Race, and Ghost Hunters, along with a lot of news and documentaries.

As for the type of guy I am, I would say driven at whatever task or job I'm doing, usually very easy going and upbeat, but can at times be quite serious. I would say a mix of Steve McQueen's cool demeanor, Jim Carey's crazyness, Plato and his intellect, and Henry Thoreau with his desire to explore and reflect on the world. Yes, an odd mix but there's only one of me.

A few of the things I would like to do in the future...Skydiving, Scuba diving, learning to ride a motorcycle, and play guitar.

What am I looking for in a woman? Playful, honest, romantic, passionate about something that moves their spirit, isn't allergic to exercise (at the very lease walking as I love being outside when it's nice), a woman that knows it's always the company and not the place. So if I seem like the oddball...oops, the unique guy you might be waiting for, here I am!

Perhaps meet for coffee or a drink. Hey I could have an elaborate plan for the day, but first let's see if we can live with each other for an hour...lol
