I think of myself as being an open-minded individual... an adventurer by nature... a thinker by habit... I seek knowledge always.

I am an honest, open-minded, non-controlling, non-jealous type (don't get me wrong, I can get jealous, but it takes a lot... I am human). I lived long enough to know that trying to change or control a person is a wasted effort and often results in the opposite of what you were trying to achieve. If you love a person, you have to accept them unconditionally or move on. I am quite confident and do not feel threatened by outside forces. From what life has taught me thus far I have positioned myself to be able to handle just about any problem that crosses my path. I'm a great listener (yes, I actually ask questions) and am interested to see the world as you see it. Overall, I have lived a very nice American story. Yet, I am humble... because I have been at the bottom and I have walked in the other shoe.

I love to laugh until I can't take it anymore. I think that is the key to a Zen like state. Other things I enjoy are concerts, snowboarding (live for), surfing (drool), sailing (I compete), the outdoors, Canada eh!, thunderstorms and blizzards (see snowboarding), exotic beaches (see surfing), and good conversation to list a few. I love all types of music, but I really dig electronic (turntables), rock, World/Latin and alternative (I'm a drummer).

Depends on the moment and the person. Probably dinner, a band, or coffee (or all of the above). *Something we both enjoy doing* is key.
