I have been a registered nurse for 31 years,I am a Home Care Visiting Nurse.I am nearly finished obtaining my Master's degree in Nursing Education. One cannot have been in that profession for that long without developing a deep love and compassion for people. I have a great sense of humor, I love to laugh and make people laugh (I'll settle for a smile if they are ill); I can be serious when then need arises (such as when providing patient care) but I also love to have fun, experience new things and try to enjoy all of the good things life has to offer. I love to read,I love amusement parks (although I keep my 2 feet mostly on the ground these days!) I love all kinds of music (I play flute and sing in my church choir); I am a romantic at heart and love all those special touches men offer to make a woman feel special and loved.I absolutely love going to the beach and spending time in the fresh air, walking in the sand and enjoying the smell of the ocean. I love to play on my computer and I've done many different types of computer projects for fun and for sale. I did volunteer work for the Red Cross ( I was sent to Katrina in Gulfport and Buloxi, Misssissippi in 2005) and continue to volunteer locally if I am available. I love to go dancing, to see a good movie either in the theater or at home, and, as I said generally try to enjoy life. I do love to travel although I have not done as much as I would like and plan to do more in the future. The person I am looking for should share many of the same values I have about the sacredness of life and the importance of helping others as much as possible. I am a nurturer by nature and really love the opportunity to have someone to come home to and share my deepest thoughts, feelings, and dreams with, and want to be able to reciprocate in kind. God, Family, and Friends are extremely important to me, and should also be for the person I am involved with.I have 2 adult children and 2 young granddaughters who all live in Tennessee.
