Cowboy. Few words can bring to mind such a wealth of imagery. If you're looking for some buck-toothed, trailer-dwellin', cousin lovin', slack-jawed redneck bull rider, however, you're looking in the wrong place. I like horses, motorcycles, 4x4 pickup trucks and country music, but not chewing tobacco, Kid Rock, Bud Light, false pretense, or analytic and algebraic topology of locally Euclidean parameterization of infinitely differentiable Riemannian manifolds, but really, who does?

I am a professional musician without a steady gig, but since I also have a full time day job, I don't have to live in a van down by the river. It's closer to the Scottsdale Waterfront. :)


I am something of a jack-of-all-trades, and have dabbled as an auto mechanic, horse-whisperer, pilot, sailor, outdoorsman, and as a certifiable expert at corporate diplomacy and negotiation. I'm not into drama, unless it's in an old John Wayne movie or something like that. I still believe in chivalry where it is practical, and I still try to live by the code of the west.


You should probably like country music, or at least be willing to give it a try, but it's not a prerequisite. I own a sailboat, but I'm still learning how to work it, so if you happen to end up on board, you should know how to swim. You should also probably not have any hang-ups about motorcycles, since I ride one almost exclusively. I won't feel bad if you don't want to ride, but I certainly don't mind the company. I have a fat cat (Patton), and he's my little attention pig. I value integrity and intellect, and I enjoy intelligent debate about current events, as well as historical matters. Independence is a must, as is a sense of humor. You made it to the end of this profile... your sense of humor should be fine!
