Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Allow me to explain my "separated" status. He abandoned me more than 3 years ago and simply disappeared. No contact since. He's a master at identity theft and could be anywhere.

I'm a simple country girl who just wants a simple life. I'm not terribly social, but hermits aren't known for being the life of the party. Horses are my biggest passion. I've been REtraining horses for more than 20 years. For many years I was involved in private equine rescue. I need a man who understands that horses are in my blood and no amount of deprivation will cure that virus.

I like pickups, muscle cars, motorcycles (used to sell Harleys), running heavy equipment, and getting dirty. I enjoy computers and all kinds of crafts. I'm a voracious reader with a seriously varied interest in reading material: architecture, medicine, philosophy, religion, literature, history. My music tastes are very eclectic: from country to classic rock to jazz to classical.

I guess I'm pretty much of a homebody. I prefer riding or working in the barn to going out on the town. I'm very easy to please. It's the little things that count. I don't like to shop (unless it's for horse-related items, craft supplies, or books).

The man in my life will need to be..... Here's where it gets tough. Different combinations of qualities are appealing in each individual man. We are all unique in our "differentness". If all men/women were the same, this wonderful world would be a very boring place. He will, nevertheless, possess a few basic qualities: honesty, integrity, compassion, patience, empathy, understanding.

A perfect first date? Is there really such a thing? An ideal first date, for me, would be a nice ride just before sunset on a good horse. Then a cup of tea by the fire while we talk. Or maybe we'll just sit quietly and count the stars. I love warm summer breezes, midnight rides under a full moon, sitting under a shade tree watching the horses. I know. I've got a "thing" about horses! But the best thing for the inside of a human is the outside of a horse.
