People have described me as a free spirit and I am from the midwest, so am prototypically down to earth, open, honest, and nonpretentious. I am kind of a trekker with recent travels to Turkey, Greece, Nicaragua, France, Germany, Italy, and other European countries. I tend not to take myself too seriously, as you can probably gather from the pictures, and I truly enjoy getting out and seeing what is out there on this grand planet we call Earth.

I am not one to strictly adhere to routine and the mundane and so I guess that I am looking for someone with a similar open mindedness and curiosity to explore. A good match for me would be someone who is interested in things like backpacking in Europe, traveling to various countries and immersing in the culture, swimming in the many Florida springs, and hiking and camping to connect with nature. I find that there is nothing more spiritual than experiences like watching a sunset, viewing the majesty of moutains, making eye contact with animals in the wild, and walking barefoot in the sand.

I have lived in Florida for 7 years now, and plan to get to know the state and surrounding region a little better. Any suggestions on special places to visit? I also would like to share nights of great food & wine, star gazing, walks on the beach--who doesn't like a little romance?
