Ok, why is this so hard...really?

I am looking for someone that I can have fun with. Laughter is important in life and I would like someone who likes to laugh and enjoys life.

I am looking for a woman that has some of the same interests as me. I don't want somebody that is wrapped up in them self. They must accept me for who I am. I want someone that enjoys the simple things in life. I will go out of my and do anything with someone I enjoy spending quality time with. Staying home and watching a movie is always good but going out and enjoying each other’s company is also a plus.

I am just looking for honesty... no drama and no games from a woman who is motivated, ethical and wants to have a "real" relationship...someone who can think outside the box and get things done in life!

I’m looking for a woman who loves to have fun but appreciates and loves receiving flowers and compliments. I enjoy a woman who is spontaneous and able to take control of a situation and work through any situation with an open mind.

I'm extremely secure emotionally and financially, fortunate to be in a career that I love, and I'm also very level-headed. I love to spend time with my family and good friends and would really like to meet a girl who also has quality relationships with her family and friends. I am a big hockey fan...still play and watch/attend a game from time to time..LETS GO SABRES!
Note: You do not have to be a sports chic, it is just something I like and do on my spare time...so hopefully that does not scare anyone off.

My music preferences are: I listen to all kinds of music, 3 Doos Down, Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd, etc...all depends on my mood...

Movies, the scarier the better but also like comedy...a good laugh hits the spot.

Pretty good with tools and not afraid of manual labor, have recently built pool deck, redone some rooms in my house, etc. and not afraid to hit my finger from time to time with the hammer, by accident that is. :-)

I also enjoy watching a thunderstorm from my back patio and maybe even getting wet in the process.

Ok, so I have been asked more than once what sparks my interest in a women...so I would have to say the cute, short (5’-5’5”ish), sweet, petite/thin/average with a great smile...maybe like a Tina Fey (blonde/redhead or brunette) with or without glasses but glasses are hot too. That about sums it up. Really not trying to be shallow or looking for a supermodel, ”Pretty Plain Jane” works for me. I see it like this, if I saw you in public would I look your way?

First dates are usually awkward am I right? If you can get past the first date and all the nervousness and have a desire for a second one that is always a good thing. Chemistry is also a key component and you both have to feel something to warrant a second date.
