Hello! Here is the very basic, upfront stuff: I've had only one marriage. It was 22 yrs long; single now for 8 1/2 yrs. I'm an intelligent, independent, debt-free, fun lady!! I would prefer/LOVE to meet a man who lives within a 40-mile radius of Bolivar. Soooo Polk County or an adjoining county would be a start..LOL Both of my jobs involve a lot of customer service. Guess I love to make people smile. (Come find me and I'll show you my smile!!) I enjoy my work very much. I work FT at the local big supermarket. I also keep a few PT hours at a library in Spfd. I don't do bars or clubs! I don't drink or smoke, never have. Love to just sit and talk. Love to eat out! Am NOT a picky eater at all... And I SING!!!! Don't play any instruments, but want someone to sing with/for! I don't talk like a guy, but I sing a strong alto/tenor..smile! Wish to have someone great to share music, movies with! Have a wide taste in both. Concerts, theater, plays, etc. I'd love to roller skate, go biking, play volleyball, pool, or Scrabble with you! (words intrique me) I can be good with a sewing machine too..grin. I own a nice motorcycle helmet and a life jacket. Both are Brand New and have never been used yet!! Want someone to ride or canoe with. --ONE thing I totally expect from you = HONESTY!! This includes your age. No game-playing or excuses where your age is concerned..OK?! It is your age as God made you, so BE honest about it, not evasive. Thank you! --I actually live a very quiet life....I am happily, peacefully, and firmly grounded in my faith & beliefs. I am Missionary Baptist. I attend in Bolivar. --*My older son will soon be leaving Germany to go to Iraq. (It is 7/15/08 as I write this.) He's an Apache Helicopter Pilot for the Army. He and his wife are expecting their first child in Sept. *My younger son graduated from Drury in Spfd, Dec '05. He lives in Overland Park KS & has a great job in KC MO as a software engineer. *My older daughter is married, living in KC MO. She has my 5yr-old gran-girl. *My younger daughter lives on her own..less than a mile from me. I love contact with all my kids as much as possible! --I want a good, honest, tender-hearted man who loves his family (if he has a family). One who knows how to work and enjoys his work, but also knows how to make plenty of time for his loved one(s). A man whose Christian faith is strong and truly knows WHO to thank for all of his blessings and also WHO to go to to ask for help - in all ways of life! A man who is self-sufficient and would not expect his wife to do all his cooking and cleaning..lol.. A man who would allow his wife to be the individual she is. And I would truly allow YOU to be an individual too. I am not looking for someone to support me financially. I have been doing fine. I simply get quite lonesome at times for Good Quality Companionship. Would love to have someone to SMILE with!!!!

Hope to marry again someday and share the rest of my life with that ONE, very special individual! I KNOW what I am looking for, but it is hard to put into just a few words. I will just say his face will be constantly on my mind and his love will never be doubted. He will excite my mind as well as my body. He will have a sweet personality and wit...but never be brashy. He will be intelligent and hard-working..and also know how to relax. If you are already retired, then you can teach me how to relax..lol I am TRULY looking for a new friend!!!! Not a movie! I'm comfortable coming to one of our homes..IF that makes us both comfortable..after getting to know each other on the phone first. On a great weather day, grab some fast-food and head to the Dunnegan Park to eat it where we can talk and then walk. Love our new coffee shop for any kind of weather! Ummmm, bowling and/or pool can be fun for a first date too. If we like each other in the first 10 minutes, we can just take it from there. That's my motto.... Oh, and there is always eating in the deli where I work....haha.
