About Me
Open to friendship or a date - eventually a mutually satisfying, loving relationship. I am a great friend and care deeply about those dear to me. I'm a Navy Mom and nothing turns me on more than the roar of an F18 Superhornet taking off from an aircraft carrier and knowing that my daughter made it happen.
Independent and comfortable being me, I love being out in the garden cultivating my wildflowers, going to concerts, and cooking out with my friends. I'm a speed freak... love racing, especially stockcars. I'm currently into country music but I love Led Zepplin, Tom Petty, Dave Matthews, Sting, Fleetwood Mac. Would love to get back into drawing and painting now that I have more time for me! perhaps this spring and summer.
I've learned that life's too short to play stupid mindgames and that communication drives a relationship. I value honesty and independence and a great sense of humor. I've learned not to "sweat the small stuff" and that sometimes boring is better than living on the edge.
Top of my list are family and friends; I'm fiercely loyal to both. I value honesty and morality and the simpler things in life. My daughters are a big part of my life and I'm so proud of them both (my oldest competes on cutting horses out of Nebraska and my youngest is serving our country in the U.S. Navy as a 3rd Class Petty Officer attached to a strike fighter group of F-18s out of Lemoore Naval Air Station, CA. and has just returned from deployment to the Persian Gulf.)
First Date
First date? Coffee someplace comfortable and easy on the conversation. Would love to be on a tropical beach... wiggling my toes in the ocean. Afternoon of snorkling with the fishes, watching the sunset with my friends, maybe even someone special by my side. Cold Margaritas or Corona with lime, salsa and guacamole (mine is famous... don't ask for the recipe, there is none); or maybe some cold white wine and raw oysters while sitting in the surf.
