As much as you want to map out your life's journey there will always be a mystery as to the path that will take you to your final destination. So I enjoy life's journey looking at each experience and finding the positives in each. There are many things in life that I would like to experience and in time I hope to do them all. I have worn many "hats" in life, friend, brother, son, father all of which I do to the best of my abilities. I am constantly improving who I am by the people who come into my life and touch me in so shape or form. I treasure friends and family. I've learned that its ok for a man to have and show his emotions. I know that I am a great man not just because friends tell me I am LMAO. I know how to treat a woman with respect. I have been told I can be "old fashioned" because I open doors and pull out chairs, you can thank my grandfather for that I've been called romantic...still don't have a clue what I did on that one lol. I guess its because I like to show special people that they are special and important to me. I'm a single dad and wouldn't change that for anything. I work, own my home and car. I'm self sufficent but would like to eventually find that special someone to enjoy what life has to offer. I can be shy at first but do warm up quickly and then the smartass comes out hehe. I am not into the bar scene.

A first date can be awkward because you don't know how the chemistry will be. So could be something simple as dinner and going for a quiet walk and getting to know each other. Or even just sitting and having coffee.
