I live by the philosophy of minimizing harm in the social environment around me. I love living near the city, but appreciate being out in the middle of no where, away from the light pollution of the skyline so I can see the clear night sky above. I'm an amateur (or should I say novice?) photographer, bought my first DSLR a few months ago and love learning techniques and tap into my creative side.

Right now in my life I'm furthering my education. I work for an insurance company and for the past year I've been enrolled in classes either at outside institutions or internal classes to earn certifications to further my career. I studied Criminal Justice in college. I would love to work my way into fraud investigations at some point or get into a paralegal position.

It's hard to say just one thing for a good first date. I'd love to go to a comedy club and then walk through the city a bit to a coffee house for more conversation. Though, there is something specifically that I want to do. I read about this "Urban Sleuth" game in Boston, where you get an iPhone and take part in an interactive detective game finding clues in the city. It seems like an incredibly fun activity to do on a first date and a far cry from the typical "dinner and a movie" date. =)
