Intro: 2nd generation American, my father is Sicilian, my mother Italian, which makes me Italian, i know.

This will be the first time i give one of these sites an honest effort by answering the questions candidly and as complete as i can. And away we go:

My aspirations seem to have consumed my social life, which is how i ended up on this site. I believe you may infer what they are by my profession. I tend to find or create humor in the mundane, and in almost any atmosphere & environment. I often think i was made to make people smile & laugh. I have been told i have a gift for narration, and i do love telling stories. Nothing fictional, I'm not so famous for my ability to act. In other words i don't mince words, i often let slide off my tongue whatever slips into my mind. Needless to say, my foot winds up in my mouth quite often. If you are hyper-sensitive, then you cannot say i didn't warn you. In sum, i wear my heart on my sleeve, (or so my friends from the mid-west used to say). My actions do reflect how i would like to be treated, and so i welcome someone with a character strong enough to practiceand put up with brutal honesty. (aside from the obvious cases such as: "Honey do these jeans make me look fat? " Although my reply might be, let me answer that whenever you get them buttoned. KIDDING- THATS ALWAYS A NO !!!!!!

I believe words & labels often cheapen what otherwise need not be said. I can not control my dry-sarcastic sense of humor, or my imagination, which seem to work together to make life in the office palatable. I try never to start something i can not finish and uncertainty weighs heavily on my brain. I have no set criteria, no physical profile for who i would like to meet. I will never judge a book by its cover, i form my own impressions after i have read it. Assumptions will only lead you astray. I seem to be the consistent exception to someone's rule, or presupposition.

Knowing myself i will say that there has to be an initial physical attraction and connection before the stages of closeness can progress. Eyes, lips, and a pretty face would be my 'Achilles heel' when it comes to physicality, the body to compliment such is icing on the cake. Independence typically couples strong character, so i will not elaborate any further. In my opinion a sense of humor and personality can transform the plain into something beautiful, unique and treasured.

My dislikes & turn-offs are women with insecurities, whether they be physical, a lack of self-confidence, inability to trust, or the like. Comfortableness & confidence with oneself will transcend and compensate for any imperfection you think you have.

First dates, hmmm. I will usually try to get to know someone well enough, (by chatting on line, and the phone, etc) so that there are very few things that are out of the question. I'm open for suggestions, if your feeling creative. Dinner seems to be end all be all of first dates. Personally, i get to nervous to finish my meal, but should be fine by dessert : ) I would consider myself a very spontaneous person so whatever comes to mind, do tell.

My own mother referred to me as "the monk" for quite a bit of time, my studies preceding my career kept me out of the "social loop". Considering i do not go to bars, you may deem me a hermit. i will not lie and tell you i'm a social butterfly. I love the sun, and enjoy being out, all i need is the time and a reason. Although by many standards i would be classified as a homebody. You can form your own opinion after you get to know me!
