How do u describe urself w/out coming off as either pompous, self-deprecating, or (and especially) mis-representational? ... Ok, I'll give it a go!
I have a heart of gold.., tainted by the betrayal and misery I've witnessed and (unintentionally) participated in. I'd like to believe Love can save us, but i think the world has become too corporate and greedy! Too many ppl looking for the easy buck, or way up the corporate ladder, at the expense of others (is no another way to climb that ladder?).
I am a total romantic at heart, but find most of it wasted on the expectations of "material girls". Money is a necessity to me not a goal.
I love music. LOVE !! I listen to everything from Jim Reeves and Kenny Rogers to Metallica and Judas Priest. From BOC to BNL and CTD, with some Santana and April Wine to spice it up!! But im not a musician. I can drum and play keyboard alitle... some ppl claim i could be a good singer with some lessons ... maybe some day!
I love to laugh, and in fact think most of life is a tragicly humorous

First dates r always awkward ... the pressure of first impressions can kill a really good chance at a second, or third date, at which time both parties become more comfortable, relaxed, and forthcoming with themselves. So the best first date should be something relaxed like a coffee at brunch... at an outdoor cafe, in the sunshine... fresh, before the days work and turmoil has taken away the "energy" of life. An open, public place where both ppl can feel comfortable being themselves.
Of course there is always the materialistic first date.... ...
Arrive at the door with a dozen red roses, limo awaiting. A long drive to take in all the sites of the city accompanied by fine champaign, till we arrive at the pier. We board at 60' yacht and cruise the lake, eating a selection of fine cuisine from around the world, as we look at the full moon and ponder life, nature, and what would it be like to ... ... be a fish... or a bouncing emoticon...javascrapt:smilie('')
or how much life would suck as a toilet :)
Or somewhere in between
