First off I don't like the fact I can only choose one "I Am Looking for." Sure, my ultimate goal is a long term (life long) relationship, but I am certainly unopposed to new friends, email buddies, etc...

OK, climbing off my soapbox. I am a fun loving, honest, ambitious, and very caring person. I am a father and daddy to two wonderful daughters who still have the ability to make me cry. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and will continue to do so. It isn’t a sign of weakness, but of strength. I don’t have the desire to play the dating games. You will always know how I feel. What I want is simple, the same. I don't care what you make a year, what you drive, what hangs in your closet, or who your friends are. None of that impresses me anymore. When I got sick in '01 I lost a great paying career and the fast paced life I thought I enjoyed. I spent three and a half years facing death and realizing how twisted I had become. I had to start life all over again as the new me. I like this guy!

I am the training coordinator for my local volunteer fire department and hope to enter a paramedic program in the fall. I am a Nationally Registered EMTB, and have been an EMT for over 15 years. I am also an Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross. I had my life so filled with those activities I was forgetting to have a life. I still enjoy them, but I need something more now.

A few things that I find to be turn offs; smoking, visible tattoos, heavy drinkers, any sort of chemical addiction, mean/cold/emotionless people, and ignorance. And please look like your picture. I don't think it is shallow to admit that physical attraction is a must.

Wow, a first date template? How about a casual dinner where the ambiance is so that we can talk without shouting? I like a wide variety of foods, so I am sure we can easily agree. I mean, McDonalds has many, many choices on their menu now. Then maybe after that take a nice walk where we can continue to talk if the desire is there.
