I am an honest and fairly outgoing person, I like to live as spontaneously as I possibly can and I live life to the fullest.
I am not a work out buff, I will probably never run a marathon or enter a sporting event of any sort in my lifetime. My extent of physical activity typically consists of swimming three nights a week and taking my son for walks.
To physically describe myself, I'm 5'8" and about 185 lbs - I am not some boney toothpick; I have hazel eyes and my hair is dyed a deeper red and comes to right around my earlobes. I have my ears, tongue and (my newest addition) my eyebrow pierced; I have plans for a few further piercings and a tattoo to symbolize the birth of my son.
A large portion of my life is devoted to my 'baby bear' and it's got to be the best job in the world to be a parent; I talk about my boy a lot. I feel it is also important to mention that I am NOT looking for a new daddy for my son, he has his daddy and spends a lot of time with his daddy; this is solely to find someone to maybe fill an empty void in my life.
When I have spare time, I like to spend it playing pool, doing kareoke (I'm no Canadian Idol), or something as simple as hanging out with the people I love and having great conversation over coffee. I am not a big drinker, I lost the ability to hold down hoards of liquor when I turned 19. My typical Saturday night consists of having friends over for drinks and chit chat on the patio at home.
I prefer listening to music over watching T.V. - I know next to nothing about the latest shows on T.V. or the latest movies to be released, and I have no use for reality shows. My music tastes are broad and range from classical music to heavy metal, without opera or 'polka' music in there.
I am in between post-secondary courses, and like to think I have my future plans figured out and ready to be put in motion.
If I had to use three words to best describe me, they would be: devoted, unique and tolerant. I am devoted to everyone important in my life (friends and family) and will be till my dying days; I have my own set of characteristics that tend to set me apart from most women my age; and I am extreme in my opinions and decisions- this does NOT mean I cannot respect different opinions or decisions, I am a very tolerant person of differences, but I am difficult to sway in a different direction.
I have not read Dating for Dummies yet, so I'm not looking to jump into anything serious; I am also not looking for a one (or few) night stand, I feel as though I owe myself a little more respect than to simply give myself to anyone.
I believe that confidence does a lot more for a person than a pretty face ever can, I do not think I am anything exceptional in the appearances department, but what I lack there I make up with what's inside of me.

Usually the first date is an opprotunity to get to know someone, so a preferable choice of mine is somewhere a little more on the quiet side to allow for chit-chat without yelling into the other's ear - Whether it be a coffee in a quiet coffee shop or a drink over a game of pool. Oh yeah, and no nookie on the first date
The second date should always be something where both people can become comfortable with looking ridiculous all the while having fun - Something like mini-golf or bowling where no one really looks great doing it...
