About Me
First and foremost -- I actually don't answer to "Jenny." ;) (you can call me Jen).
Between graduate school, a great job, and varied interests, I have little time to get out and meet people.
Mom always said I have "strange taste in cute," whatever that means. I don't really have a "type," physically. It's more in how a man communicates, and his sense of humor. I like literacy and good teeth.
I'm a pretty casual, laid-back type. I like anything from lobster and chardonnay, to tapas and sangria, to guacamole and margaritas, to cheeseburgers and Diet Coke.
By day, I work in an office, but by night, I'm a singer (soprano) and a community theatre performer. I like going to sporting events, movies, concerts, watching TV, trying new restaurants, museums, bowling, walks in the park, boats, fishing, road trips, flea markets, garage sales, antique shops. I like travel. Airports. I don't have hiking boots or a bike, but I like to get out and do/see things. I'm always up for learning new skills and finding new hobbies and interests. Except dancing. I'm just way too goofy looking when I dance, and live in fear that I'll end up the star of a grainy YouTube video.
Mainly looking for someone who actually wants to go out and do things, not just place occasional booty calls. Particularly someone who loves (will settle for "tolerates") theatre, particularly musical theatre, who will at least go to shows with me, and will support me when I'm performing. And who isn't afraid of roller coasters or the mosquitos at Ravinia or Independence Grove. :)
First Date
A casual dinner or lunch in a well-lit public location. :) It's (still) summertime now, so maybe some miniature golf. Um, not sex. Apparently I have to spell that out. ;)
